CARE PACKAGE 14 š¤²š½ A Mind in Scarcity Creates a Space With Few Options
Fear of ābeing withoutā
A mind in scarcity creates a space with few options
With many spatial predicaments, we make choices that are trying to achieve a certain outcome and the choices we make turn out to achieve the exact opposite outcome. I really get this because I myself have been in struggle loops of trying but perpetually repeating unwanted circumstancesā¦ until I figured out how to break free from the matrix. :)
In situations like this it comes down to discovering the underlying belief structures behind the way we choose. Iām going to use home examples to begin with and then link it back up with how we create our lives.
Someone might hold on and collect in order to feel like they have more or to feel like theyāre not āwithoutā (the result of a fear-based scarcity mindset). But those collections more often than not impede their lifestyle and activity, and even basic/necessary movement around the house.
I have seen homes with so much stuff that there is but one narrow path through what would otherwise be a spacious apartment and stacks and piles that block doors from opening. It is no surprise to me that a mind in scarcity creates a space with few options.
Organizing has the potential to be revolutionary because itās an opportunity to create our world more consciously and more effectively. Your space, whether you choose to hone this power or not, is a direct reflection of you and gives accurate feedback on how and what youāre creating.
While you may not be in such an extreme case as the example mentioned above, such cases illustrate very clearly what may be going on in your life and space in, from your perspective, a more subtle or less detectable way.
I have seen several iterations of not letting the bottle finish. Bottles of shampoo, body wash, detergents, etcā¦ the bottle is nearly finished but you donāt finish the last bit, you hold onto the bottles, donāt throw them out, and you buy more and more (usually cheaper items) while the others are still around. This is also fear-based and rooted in scarcity mindset. A way of avoidingā being withoutā.
And yet again this approach produces the exact opposite outcome from what is intended. When you collect in this way you create a facade of plenty (product) while in actuality thereās very little.
This is counterintuitive on many levels that you can probably piece together on your own. But the component that you may not have thought about before is this: when you make any such choices from a scarcity mindset you are actively and effectively pushing abundance away.
The energetic space from which we make choices matters. The energetic space you are entertaining when you are trying to protect yourself from being without is āI donāt trust that there is plenty and that I will be provided forā. Thatās a belief in scarcity and an entertainment of fear. And, the universe being a grand reflector of you, when you make choices from that placeā¦ you just get more of it, more scarcity.
And hereās the thing- You canāt be in both scarcity and abundance at the same time. If you are in one, you are not in the other. If you are thinking, feeling, believing, creating from within one paradigm, you are effectively repelling the other.
I know that you will find this to be true in, if not one, many areas of your life.
The bottle example and the doors literally not being able to open example may or may not be you. BUT there is likely some area of your life and space where you are not getting the outcomes you actually want.
So I want to ask youā¦
Where in your life or space might you be miscreating? Can you identify what you actually want (prosperity, abundance, opportunity, freedom, agency, etc.) and recognize where your choices are creating the opposite of what you want because theyāre rooted in a belief that is counter to the desired outcome?
Iām willing to bet that any and all of those miscreations are, overtly or covertly, being made from a space of fear and/or scarcity. (Youāre not alone. We live in a capitalist society and have been thoroughly indoctrinated to work from fear and lack)
I would encourage you to be honest with yourself about whether or not fear is playing a role in any of your choice-making. And then Iād encourage you to practice choosing differently.
We think and act quickly so we can sometimes forget that we do in fact have choice along the way. You can stop yourself in your own tracks, point out the fearful thinking, the underlying fearful belief.
ā¦ and then, as an exercise, rewrite those beliefs and thoughts to be rooted in the alternative reality that you actually want to create (prosperity, abundance, opportunity, freedom, agency, etc.)
ā¦ and then choose to choose from that space instead of the fear space.
Your outcomes will be dramatically and momentously more aligned with your desires and so much will open up for you.
Holding space for your continually expanding prosperity and potential,
Loretta
