CARE PACKAGE 1 🤲🏽 What a Wellness Ecosystem Actually Looks Like
Your wellness ecosystem and why everything stems from it…
As my work has matured I’ve gained new insight and dimensions of understanding about lifestyle and how to help people thrive. As you know, organization and personal training are key elements of the work that I do with clients. This is still the case, however, my language has shifted to more fully centralize the individual as the living focal point of the work.
I think it’s wise, in any process, to keep in mind the point. The person is the point. The person being and feeling well is the point. Everything else, though I do it all with proficiency and at a level that it certainly could take center-stage, is merely in support of rejuvenating the individual and facilitating their process.
To demonstrate why none of these subjects alone is the point (but rather, the synergy and cohesion of them together)- a person can be “organized” and still be misaligned and deeply unfulfilled; a person can be “fit” but be scattered and broke; a person can be spiritual but be unhealthy and inefficient; a person can be “productive” and have “good habits” but be constantly struggling with money; a person can be prosperous and a master manifestor in some areas but they could be disorganized and struggling in other areas.
That’s why my language has shifted to take a look at the relevant factors that contribute to a person’s overall wellness, a person’s individual environment. The aim is to fortify and optimize your individual environment and personal wellness ecosystem, because it is the basis from which everything you do and experience in life will flourish.
Your wellness ecosystem, as I see it, is your home, body, spirit, habits, and prosperity consciousness. I liken their necessity and synergistic effect to the elements essential to a plant’s wellness.
If you’re aiming to grow a healthy plant, you don’t just think about the soil or just think about the sun or just think a bout the water; you, of course, understand that there are 5 main factors that contribute to the ultimate wellness of the plant… water, soil, sun, air, and space. So you task yourself with optimizing and balancing those immediate environmental factors.
I see our wellness the same way… it’s not really a matter of efforting or taking on more projects. It’s really a matter of recognizing your individual environment and making adjustments to provide yourself with conditions that support you thriving.
That’s simple enough to understand, but what you might not realize is how your home, body, spirit, habits, and prosperity consciousness are your environment and are the determining factors of how everything else in your life goes. If you’re like most people you think these are circumstances that you’re subject to, areas that you need to assert control over, topics that don’t have a direct impact on your highest values and what’s most meaningful to you, and you may actually not even know what prosperity consciousness is.
Whether or not you recognize these areas as your individual environment, they are your individual environment and they are either contributing to or actively taking away from you.
If you’re neglecting one of these areas it’s like shoving your plant in a small box and wondering why it’s dying. Or never watering your plant and wondering why it’s dried up and unhappy. Or expecting your plant to grow without any soil. Or worse, sometimes an environmental factor is having such a negative effect on you that it’s actually like placing your beautiful plant against the heater and not acknowledging the reason for it’s scorched leaves.
Everything about your life and how it’s going or isn’t going can be traced back to sufficient or insufficient care for one of these areas.
If this is resonating with you on any level, check the bottom of this email for ways to stay connected and start working with me.
With a fierce interest in your happiness and well-being,
Loretta
