CARE PACKAGE 4 🤲🏽 Hoarding Doesn’t Just Happen in the Home
To evolve out of scarcity
Hoarding doesn’t just happen in the home. We also hoard in our bodies, in our minds, and with our money. This behavior is fear-based, the result of scarcity mindset, and is actively repelling everything you need and want in life.
I want to expand upon this a bit and articulate why prosperity consciousness matters to your home and your body, and how the way you think about money affects every aspect of your life.
Hoarding is not exclusive to the home. Hoarding is defined as ‘a difficulty to part with possessions’. Here’s the first bit of unpacking I’ll provide you with: It’s not about the stuff. Hoarding is holding on because of fear of being without, fear of abandonment, fear of not having enough, belief in scarcity, and/or some other iteration of fear and lack. It’s a grasp for control and security, which (I have keen awareness and intimate knowledge) is innocent and understandable, but definitely holding you back.
By ‘hoarding’ I’m not only talking about those situations in which you can’t open the door and can hardly walk through the space. (If that’s you this Care Package will certainly resonate, ring true, and may even be a tad triggering. Please remember that everything I share is offered with love and respect and a pure dedication to serving your wellness.) I am cognizant of the fact that this is a serious and sensitive topic. In fact, I think it’s more serious and more covertly pervasive than we recognize, which is exactly why I want to share with you this paradigm shift that can actually empower and enable you to create massive shifts in your life.
In the same way that “organized” isn’t a look, neither is hoarding. Extreme cases are visibly recognizable but the choices, behaviors, feelings, and thoughts that are the actual origin of these situations are ever-present and shockingly normalized. As a society we habitually confirm the concept of scarcity for ourselves and each other and, respectfully, it’s some utter crap that I believe it is our responsibility to evolve beyond and completely out of.
Recognizing the real essence and origin of what would otherwise grow to be an overwhelming circumstance is beneficial because it not only helps us prevent those situations, it’s how we hone our truly powerful creative capacities.
Any and every behavior permeates and expresses throughout your life because… how you are in one area of your life, make no mistake, is how you are in every area of your life. This is why I frequently say that your home and your body are consistent and reliable reflections of you. You will always see in your external environment a perfect reflection of how you feel.
And the reason this matters is because it’s not only affecting your home! It’s affecting your health, it’s affecting your wealth, and it’s affecting your relationships.
But “what does thinking and feeling have to do with fear? What does it have to do with my home and body, and what does it matter to me?” The way you think and feel has everything to do with what happens in your life; how things go, how things work out or don’t work out, what comes into your life or doesn’t come into your life, the opportunities you receive or the ones you seek and never seem to find.
If you are tolerating any degree of scarcity, fear, and/or hoarding… that is what you’re thinking, feeling, and vibrating. And, because we are magnets in this life and always only receive more of what we offer in terms of vibration, when we tolerate fear, worry, scarcity, and hoarding, we just get more of them. We have to think, feel, and choose differently in order to change things for ourselves.
Fear and worry and all behavior stemming from these low vibrations are repellents. Those feelings aren’t inactive… If you’re spending time in fear you are actively repelling everything you need and want, especially money. Fear-based feelings and behaviors messy your energy which immediately and powerfully changes every aspect of your life because your energy is your point of attraction.
Money is like the Blue Jay that only dwells in healthy, nature-rich environments, who you never see near trash or life-depleted spaces.
With love, respect, and care in abundance,
Loretta
